Well while conducting a wildlife survey in some rarely hunted areas and a new feeder area. I got a ton of pictures. So far the total count is 29 different deer in 3 areas of the ranch on this latest survey. The estimate comes to around 1 deer for every 4.73 acres, and on 700 acres, thats going to be alot of MLD tags. I also like our new camera the Stealthcam Sniper Pro 8.0 MP, great cam for $150. The other cam is a Remington 5.0 MP. I also got a Wildview which had 6 different bucks, but I'm not showing those till I catch the monster buck I saw the other day while checking it, some how that big boy didn't show up on the cam, but his 6 friends did. It's almost like he knows all that corn is a camera trap.

A bunch of younguns with there mothers, all the fawns are button bucks.

Another group of younguns.

Gee, do you think she knows what this new feeder does already?

Nice beast of a hog.

Nice little bobcat. Not a mountain lion, lol.

Just the normal group of hogs down in the bottom. I get about a 1000 pics like this one every two weeks.

Were those does live, there aren't very many hogs. It's been a tough hot summer for them, the one with the ribs showing is those twin fawns mother. It took a lot to feed them.

Well during the summer I think we average about 1100-1200 pounds a month for all the hog hunts, during the fall and winter, we usually use about 1400-1500 pounds a month for both the deer and hog hunts. Starting this month, we now buy it in bulk with 2000 pound feed bags. It's really funny how all that corn makes the hog meat taste better.
