Anybody know how the deer hunting is around Bonham. Family has some land but dont know much about it.

Only seen tracks on the river up north but never seen a deer in the 50+ trips I have made there. Not much deer around there until you go east a bit.

I can tell ya they have some awesome duck hunting up there

My son and I saw 4 doe about 2 months ago IN BONHAM! Maybe 1/4 mile from our house. Also once had over 30 hogs in my yard. Like said already, more deer in the NE part of the county.

Mykol is correct, hogs much more prevalent than deer... not many deer in that part of the world. We've seen some in new places over the last few years, but not in huntable amounts. I'd say 95% or more of the deer in fannin co are in the NE 10-15 % of the county.
