I got a brand new girl friend. MY Ruger Red Label .28 ga came in the mail the other day. I can't wait for Tuesday. I was at Horizon Kennels last night north of Sealy and the white wings were coming over in droves. To say the least it was very distracting while training.

So what's your shell strategy with that sweet little gun? You going to just shell out for factory loads or are you going to make the investment in a reloader? Either way you'll need to get factory loads and keep the hulls to start out.

I have been so busy at work and dog traing all I have been able to do is take it out of the box, put it together and lock it in the gun safe.

I did find some Remington 3/4 oz 1300 fps loads at wall mart for $8.60 a box. I bought all they had. If they don't do the trick I am going to find what does.

So far as reloading I sold all of my presses and equipment. I sold probably $2,500 worth of stuff for $300. I don't have the time to reload and the money savings surely aint worth the time. I am just going to buy cases at a time and take the arse biting at the check out counter.

I will post some pics either Saturday night or Monday morning. Heck the only time I ahve to get on here is in between cases I am working. There was a whole lot of things they didn't tell me about when I hired on with this outfit.

It is to me. The cheapest decent 28 I can find costs 9.99 a box and I can reload the same load on a Mec 600 for about $5.50 per box.

I figured it out and by the time I load a case you save $35. My life got way too busy to for $35 bones. Sometime back I caught a tiger by the tail and I really don't know how to let it go. I loved reloading as a hobby but I just can't spend the time it takes anymore. Especially now with the training season in full swing.
