This was my daily driver for a long time, but now it has a bad head gasket and I don't have the time to fiddle with it. 116k miles. Good body and interior, 75% tread left on the Yokahama Geolanders (31 inch) and it has a set of very unique Toyota factory alloy wheels. I bought them from a guy in Seattle and I have never seen another set like them in this part of the country. If you have the mechanical ability this could be a good opportunity for a quality truck for little money. $2000 obo. how hot did she get? did you keep driving iot hot ? could have at a mininum a warped head, maybe warped block

Contact Toyota, There was a recall on the 3.0 V6 motors, for head gasket issues. They may fix it for you. Last I saw the recall was good to 100K, and you aren't far over that.

I wish I had known that. I had the same truck a few years ago and it blew a head gasket around 108K. Other than that, I loved that truck.

That was the V06 campaign and it expired in 2007. It was good for 10 years after vehicle was produced.

Low miles, my 4runner is a '98 and is going strong at 147k miles as of yesterday  Same model, I love it. Free bump to...the top of the top?

Yep it's worth a shot-I had a 94 that had the same problem at 125,000 miles and they covered the cost off all parts (my brother was a toy mechanic at the time and did the work-a different dealer sent it in for warranty so it had nothing to do with my bro as far as getting approved). Quote:
