Does anybody know how to get rid of these things ???
besides a .22 and a spotlight. Traps may not be an option it is four hours away and would not be able to check them often.
Does anybody hunt them w/out dogs and if they do how?

"Can you eat that?"

Spotlight and 22 is the only way I know. I have a group of 5 that are hanging out at my feeder that will meet the trusty ruger 10/22 this weekend

One way is poison. I know it sounds bad but at a lease I had in S. Texas we would inject poison in an egg. Most of the time they did not make it out of feeder pens. It worked that fast.

.22 and a spotlight, might as well have some fun doing it.

i second the .22 and the spotlight. Sounds like you need to have a get together for the THF members. I can see it now,

Be cautious using any kind of poison since you may get unwanted animals/reptiles too. We don't need any negative publicity on our hunting excursions...Animal Rights Folks prey upon this.

Just a precaution...better check with the local authorities.

Live traps, take a can of mackeral pour juice from front to back and one table spoon full of mac in the back. Sure fire way to catch coons.
