So it's taken me awhile to actually writing this review but here it is. This was my second time out at Hog Heaven Hunts and ever since the first time out last December my dad and brother have been talking about coming back out. We had a blast the first time and were ready for more. It was awesome seeing the change of scenery from our trip in December to this recent one last month. First day no hogs but did see lots of deer and other wildlife. My dad is already planning another trip out here for deer season. Him and my brother flew out from California to make these trips. Day two still lots of deer but no hogs seen. Until last bit of shooting light. My brother takes down his first big hog. I didn't hear the shot but when Jason came and picked me up from the blind I was in I was stoked hearing the news. On the morning we were leaving, on the last hunt is when I got my turn. I have to admit I actually fell asleep once I got in the blind lol. I woke up and looked out the window and thought " oh nice, hogs" closed my eyes for a few second and realized "oh crap, hogs!" Lol I sat up grabbed my rifle and set my sights on the bigger of the group. Squeezed the trigger and DRT. The others started running off and I was able to get two more shots off. Two more pigs DRT. Definitely wasn't expecting it to go down like that lol. Same morning my dad let an arrow fly on a hog as well but we couldn't see any signs and were unable to track it. Another amazing trip out to Hog Heaven Hunts with Jason. Excellent experience and a great time. Jason does everything he can to get you on the pigs and is a great guy to hang with at camp between hunts. The professionalism and service he brings is top notch. I cannot say enough great things about Hog Heaven Hunts and Jason. Anyone looking to book a hog hunt should definitely check him out. Two trips out there and not one single negative experience at all. My brother and dad are already planning to fly back out and planning their next trip. I will be gone for awhile but as soon as I come back I will be going back for more. A great time for sure. Oh also. Since the last visit, Jason has built a bunkhouse with AC which is awesome for those hot south texas days between hunts. Again just want to say thanks to Jason for another great experience and awesome hunt.
