Hello, My name is Samuel Musgrave. I am new to the

Bow forum and need some advice. I am considering the

purchase of a crossbow and would like your thoughts

about what company to stay away from and who keeps

their value if resale was ever required.

I am more concerned with purchasing a quality weapon

than the cost. I don't shop by price alone but I need to

know what company is reliable, will be around later and

something that can be serviced for the life of the weapon.

Thanks

Sam

Parker stands behind their products. Never had a crossbow but had one of their bows. Placed a warranty call one time and they didn't even ask for the SN. They just sent me the part that I needed for free. I think all of their bows and crossbow come with a lifetime warranty.

TenPoint has a strong following. Parker already mentioned. Barnett and Horton also have been making crossbows for many years and will be around years to come. I have had a Barnett for several years and also experienced no questions asked service when I needed a part from them.

Technology with crossbows is like compound bows in that it still improves greatly with each years new models. Because of that, IMO, you will lose a lot of resale value in short time with even the better name brand crossbows.
