Man looks good, im cooking Buffalo and Elk backstrap later today, my moms never had either so there in for a treat maybe ill post pics and keep the thread going.

BTW. How much processed meat you get out of a Nilgai bull and are cows better to eat?

Cows are better to eat for sure and young bulls. We get clients that come shoot a bunch of them yearly just for meat. Big bulls however are pretty tasty as well and nilgai is better than axis in a lot of our clients and my opinion. The amount you get out of a big bull is probably 180ish pounds of meat. However if you do ground and sausage out of some you can hit the 200 mark easy. Out of a cow you are probably looking at half so 90 pounds about.
