Special - Blackbuck Doe Hunts

I just recently purchased a high fenbce ranch near Lipan, TX. about 40 miles west of Ft Worth and have a large number of blackbuck does that we are going to offer a special on begining the weekend of May 9, 10 & 11th and the next several weekends there after.
These will be one day hunts, rifle or bow for $250 per animal. These would be a great hunt for a young person, a lady or anyone looking for a good spring hunting opportunity.
Blackbuck does are great table fare so you get to have a lot of fun and some great eating too.

Typical hunting rules apply, a wounded animal is considered a kill.

I just received some very good questions from a potential client and thought I would share my answers as I hope they will give you more detailed information about these hunts.

1. guided
2. no shot no pay, we have a lot of blackbuck does and they are active all day unlike whitetails
3. right now friday may 9 thru sunday may 11 and the following weekends. I do have several other hunters that are checking their caledars right no too, so these dates are on a first come firt serve basis. If they book up I will let you know
4.rifle 100-125 yds. bow 15-35 yds
5.no safari hunting, blackbucks move all during the day so hunters are welcome to set as long as they like and or chil at the ranch house under the shade trees on the patio
6. Blackbucks are small animals so just about any caliber bigger than a 22-250 will work. I would recommend a ,243. I would not recommend big 30 caliber rifles.
7. The hunters are responsible for field dressing their animals. I do have a cleaning station with hoist and water to assist but I would recommend bringing a cooler with ice. There are several large gas stations close if we need to go get ice.
8. I would prefer cash for these hunts rather than checks, no tips necessary!
I am trying to offer a good cheap hunt and to reduce my numbers of does quickly

We have booked 3 hunts for 6 does so far today, we can take a couple more hunts as we need to remove approximately 10-12 does from the herd.

We just booked another hunt (#4) for two more does so I have two does left if anyone else is interested. please let me know what weekend date you would like in May
