Cool Auodad Pic

I was digging through some old pics and thought this was a cool pic. I took it through a spotting scope at the Indianhead Ranch. Most folks know they are great climbers and this cave was dead slap in the middle of a very sheer cliff.

That is absolutely awesome!! I'd hate to be hunting them and see a big old ram in a spot like that. You might be tempted to shoot him, but recovering him would probably be nearly impossible.

I'd hate to take a shot and the thing run off the cliff and bust up that horn when it fell all the way down. If the shot didn't kill him the fall would.

If you ever make it down my way they are known for "death dives" and you'll be amazed to see what they can withstand. Had a few fall 300+ feet with no horn or cape damage.

Cool picture by the way- seen a few in caves like that along the Devils River.
