King Ranch Nilgai

Has anyone hunted there? If so how was it?

Someone just brought us a Nilgai from the 10-2-4 Ranch near Commerce, TX, and I heard they have more of them.

several years ago we went with a group and had a blast, some of the most fun hunting ive had period. IMO high rack shooting on the run action packed blast.

I hunted there two years ago on a corporate lease for Nilgai and it was a great trip, killed a really nice bull. Just being on the King and seeing all the wildlife is worth the price of admission.

Hunted there quite a bit. It's an incredible landscape and ecosystem. You will see a ton or wildlife, and the hunting is a blast too. Nilgai are a blast to hunt.

Oh and btw guys there was a posting I ran across on another website a guy has Nilgia bulls for $1000 and cows for $350 im not sure if im suppose to say where but it was on 2coolfishing and under hunting for sale may be a couple pages down now but that was a heck of a deal IMO.

It was great hunted private property adjoining the king ranch. It was a blast funnest hunt I've done hands down. It was extremely hot. I took a 9" by 9 1/4 super heavy horns. Probably 750-800 lbs on foot. This ranch I hunted was extremely thick. But I am going back to shoot a few more in a couple of weeks since I enjoyed it so much.

Im on the King usually 3 or 4 days a week. Beautiful ranch. I don't think you will find a better place to hunt nilgai.

No problem bud, I was seriously thinking about geting a group to go but with my other hunts and my schedule here in the next 2-3 months I just cant fit it in. Good luck either way and let us know how it goes.
