South Texas Bird Down

Got out to the ranch again this past weekend. Got rained on Saturday afternoon and had zero movement. Slept in Sunday so i hit the field around noon looking for some of those mid day gobblers. I set about walking and calling, at around 1:45 I got some feedback. So I set out a hen decoy and got set up. A few birds hung up about 30-40 yards out but one came all the way in. Laid him out with my grandpa's old shotgun.

So far this season has been awesome.

I was able to get better pics this time around.
