Only last year I started turkey hunting so you could imagine my lack of skills when it came to the sport. I haven't been able to take one down yet but I still have a little time left this season. My son only started hunting last spring season. So I wanted him to take the first one instead of me. We tried our butts of last season but only couldn't get one to commit. Not to mention we basically hunt public so there're always other people in the area. Well we finally were in the right place at the right time two weeks ago. We had 3 birds roost out and land about 50 yards from our decoy that morning and all 3 came in. My son was able to knock down 2 of them in less than 10 secs. It was one of the most proudest moments of life as It brought a tear to my eye!! Done and on the way home by 730!!!!!!!
