Hog hunting with M Bennet

Took Monty and a couple of his buds up to a 13k acre ranch outside of Eufaula, OK this weekend to run his dogs. We had a hell of a time watching those dogs work and ended up sticking this boar, which was my first pig to stick with a knife. We all enjoyed the heck out of Monty, his son, and his buddies. Good guys to hang out and BS with. We are really looking forward to doing it again.

Watching those dogs hunt is awesome. If you get a chance to hunt with Monty, do it.

we have a LOT more ground to cover on the next trip! We know how to get to the lake now. takes about an hour, longer if we're driving hunting speeds. hunt all the way there and back. looking forward to the next round out there.

I have friends with a cabin up there. Beautiful country up there.
