Hogs or Armadillos?

Hogs or Armadillos? - 04/15/12 06:20 AM

Went to another members house tonight for dinner and we took walk through some trails around his house and there is some serious rooting going on around tree stumps. We were thinking hogs and I am hoping it is hogs but I am leaning more toward armadillos now, there are no tracks because of the heavy pine straw ground cover so looking for tracks is impossible. I was not able to find any busted up ground except for around stumps. Waht do you huys think this is?

I dunno. Can't tell you how many times DallasShootingSupplies and I have spent 30 min stalking up on a giant herd of hogs only to find an armadillo hopped up on Mountain Dew rooting around a tree. Shot 2, should have shot 3 just sitting around the "campfire" last weekend.

Looks like armadillo but a skunk will also dig a pointed whole when digging for grubs and bugs in a yard.

So that might explain why txshntr on the THF is of leperchaun height then, he ate to many dilla burgers growing up that gave him leprosy and the side effects of it peep.

I own a Pest control company and do a lot of armadillo trapping and feral hog trapping. Definitely dillo.

Look on the side of trees in the area for hog rubs. More like the dillos.
