Trapping & Hides - 01/01/12 12:54 PM

For those of you still really working for a living, I thought I
might pass this along..My hunting bud's brother in West Texas
still traps and varmit hunts for a living..Several years ago my
bud asked him why he didn't ship his hides to Canada to get much better money..Coyote hides he got $5 for here brought $45
and bobcat brought over $300 one yrs..Just a thought..You don't
always need beer money..DD

Some bobcats from northern states can bring as much as $1000 a hide. You get the most money by stretching, drying and then shipping them off. Its not worth it to me so I just case skin and sell to a local buyer.
