Behind the house

Behind the house - 02/23/11 02:50 AM

Kids and I have been trying for over a month to catch this one that has outsmarted us several times. Trap sprung, moving trap to get to corn (notice chain on anchors in pic). Finally was able in warmer weather to get corn to sour and it all finally worked. This is 100 yards behind the house.

Very cool. I can see how he could move the trap before. Look at the size of that hog.

Thanks
We live north of Wolfe City and in the last year have become over run with them. We have shot several but couldnt put a dent in them. So for X-mas asked for a hog trap. I give them to some locals who need the meat way worse than I need the few extra bucks or meat. I guesstimate 225lbs but he was big. The dog is a really cool dog. Her name is Pretzle (kids) she will let you know when hogs, yotes, bobs and others are within a 100+ yards but isn't about to exert any energy chasing ect.
