Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced electronic coyote call?

Foxpro, hands down.

Foxpro is probably the best call you can get. The Compucaller by Burnham Brothers is also a really good call. If you can sacrifice remote control, the Johnny Stewart calls are more than acceptable for a much better price.

BUY THE FOXPRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year I bought the FX-3 model and the little Jack in a box fuzzy critter that plugs into to it.

I had never hunted predators with a call before and did not have a clue what I was doing. A few days after buying it I went with a friend to a place in Rockwall and set it up in a field next to a wood line and then hid in a finger of woods that came out into the field. After turning the call and decoy on I had a coyote down in less than 10 seconds. He came charging out of the woods on a dead run, and if it were not for my trusty 223 WSSM he would have attacked my decoy in about 5 more steps. It all happend so quick that the guy I was hunting with never even got his gun loaded.

2 days later a big ol owl swooped down and stole my little fuzzy critter and it was going to cost me $20 to order another one so I just made one my self. I have had several other birds of prey try to steal my new one but I glued it to the metal rod and so far they have not been sucessfull.

The best way to protect your Jack n a box is with a shotgun!

I agree with the fox pro, they have different models to fit your budget. I have an fx3 and love it! We shot over 20 bobcats last year with this unit. We also shot probablly 20 plus coyotes last year with this unit also. AT the varmint hunt in San Angelo we brought in 9 cats and 4 or 5 coyotes.

FOXPRO for sure. Yes they are a little more expensive, but well worth it. If you get to the Extravaganza in Ft. Worth, We will have them for sale at a little better cost. Plus we have 2 used ones for sale. See you guys there.
