Red Fox

I've seen several red foxes over the years and I always said if I ever shot one I would get it mounted. Well today was that day.

So my question is should I drop the extra money for a full body mount or just have him skinned and make a wall mount?

TxKiller thanks for the advice. The taxi said he had some pictures I could look at cause I had no idea what pose would look the best.

Definitely a trophy for a Texas hunter. I'd get a full body mount, standing up, with 3 feet on the ground and 1 in up like he's taking a step. Head turned to one side

I have been hunting nacogdoches tx for many moons now and have never seen one! Sooooo they do exist in my neck of the woods. Sweet.

It's the first one I've seen but I just moved down here last year. I was so shocked when I saw him that I almost forgot I had a gun and could shoot him.

Nice !!! I saw two red fox back in sept in Cleveland a week before bow season started.

I used to catch them in winter up north when the fur was full and pretty. Used to get a pretty penny for them too.
