Why the hatred toward penguins? There's got to be a hidden joke in there somewhere becouse I saw a 3 page long rant about shooting penguins on another forum several months back. Whats the hidden joke. (sorry I'm kinda slow)

Penguins waddle around in their tuxedos thinking they're better than everybody else. Not too mention they eat all the fish and take up all the room on the good icebergs. They're just a PITA.

They look too much like a hog for my liking. But everything looks like a hog to me. Still, I'd definitely shoot them in the faaaace. Up close too.

I'd shoot a penguin I guess. Maybe in the face but probably in the neck. I'd much rather shoot a duck billed platypus

They look a lot like coyotes to me, so I would have to say shoot every one I see. Preferably a gut shot, so it would waddle off and die somewhere else.

just think you could start a new holiday tradition. depending on the size. you could make a:

small one= turducguin

medium one= turpenken

large one= penducken

i would have to say no to shooting a penguin. not for any other reason but i hear it is ballz cold where they live and i am OUT! Now if you are speaking of the often illusive Caribbean penguin off the coast of Turks and Caocos, i am in! I hear the peak Caribbean Penguin rut is timed during Carnival.

It's reckless posts like the one on top that gives penguin hunters a bad name. We used to have a lot of feral penguins in Texas but BMD and the like have ruined the penguin hunting. Not sure if Rifleman didn't have something to do with it too!

After watching that film:March of the Penguins,I would think they would beg us to shoot them.

I did some scouting and there are no penquins at the zoo...But there's plenty at Sea World and I know where they congregate.

In the wild they are more fun to watch than you would think. Southern coast of Australia, a lot of small penguins roost on the beaches at night. Didn't shoot any while there, no gun and wasn't doing a 300+ foot cliff for recovery.
