Seems pretty early for us but walking looking for sheds today I kicked up a female bob on a nest in Irion Co.

Research ranch has one on the nest also. Seems like it was on facebook a week or so ago.

Yeah I could see 9 eggs may have been a couple under that didn't want to jack with them.

I am checking Accuweather website and it says that it is raining in Jayton right now. I certainly hope so. As for quail, this could be the "money" rain as we used to say in cotton farming.

Spent some more time hunting sheds Sunday and seems like just about every quail I kicked up were pairs. I guess they are kicking it off.

Yeah I have seen them pairing up but no nests/eggs yet.
