Panhandle Pheasants 2014 - 07/23/14 05:01 PM
I know the rain's been better. I know the cover has to be better. Logically, the hatch is better.
Question is:
Will there be enough birds to hunt this year?
We usually hunt around Perryton.
Hello up there, Panhandle.
What's the report?

I wish i knew why the panhandle farmers don't do more to support bird populations. They don't even let the corners of their sections have any cover

Probably the same reason many of them shoot deer on sight.

Only reason to go is birds. Only reason they want us to come is money.
When the birds are good the money will be too.
