Need the name of the bird supplier outside Katy TX off I-10

There is a bird suppliers sign I have seen just outside Katy Texas going west on I-10 and I forget the name of the place. My buddy and I were hoping to find out the name of the place so we can go and pick up some birds tomorrow. We have a buddy who has a lease for training in Katy and we want to get him some birds for our clubs fun day for the dogs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The guy who has the lease is hard to reach and he is out of birds so we are scrambling at the last minute to find some that are close by. My buddies supplier past away a little while ago and we are hoping to find a supplier in the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Is this the lease off Morton by the airport?

I understand that was sold to a developer.

I was wondering when that was going to happen.

Yeah I tried their website and it's gone. Kinda stinks because that was a lot closer. Everywhere you spit in this area they are building something.

They have a website? Didn't know that, I talked to Ron today and he said yup the airport bought it and everyone has to be gone in a month

Met a guy at a tower shoot that raises quail organically.
I thought that had to be a tough job, because quail are always looking for a reason to die. Anyway his prices were good, and I plan on giving his birds a try in the fall.

I believe one of the owners live close to Katy, but I don't remember where he said the flight pens were located. He also said they were going to give raising pheasants a shot.

bowbuilder and ms1454, what place, exactly, is closing down? ... what airport? Just curious ... thanks. BTW, I've bought birds a few times at Roadside, when returning from Top Flight preserve, near Columbus. The Roadside farm that I know of is closer to Columbus than Katy, in fact.

The training lease and NSTRA trial grounds north of Morton road is closing down.

I heard that the Reo Bravos preserve also been sold.

The General Manager of Rio Brazos past away last March.
Robert let NAVHDA use the grounds for training, and field days.
I haven't heard if its been sold, but it very well could have been.
It was a beautiful property.

Thanks 1971snipe. Yeah they actually sold the lease in Katy too. I just found out a couple of days ago from my buddy. I was going to get on that lease in Katy but my friends buddy made a deal with the owner to have it for only the 4 of them to be able to train their dogs there. I guess they had dove hunting there and wanted to have the place to themselves and not have to worry about the hunters there. I was going to wait for an opening since I skipped out on leasing it when I had the chance (got hit by a car and was recovering). Roadside is actually 14 miles away from where we are having the club get together on a horse ranch so my buddy is going to pick up some birds there to run the dogs. I am going to take video and pics and will post them up. There should be about 50 Vizsla's there. Thanks again everyone for the help on this.
