If I can get the picture loaded, can someone tell me if the shell position is correct for the magazine. Thanks

That's what I thought, bought it new at cabelas and haven't shot it yet. Can't seem to get them to lock flush with the tube. Thanks.

Take it back. They may tell you to deal with the manufacturer. How long have had it?

Does the SX4 have a magazine cutoff switch like a browning? That’s what it looks like when it gets flipped crashing through brush in my maxus.

Hi E&H,
Not sure, I know the gun is made in Portugal by Browning. Loaded again this morning and cycled the bolt, cycled fine. Guess I need tog go out and shoot it as soon as I can.

Is that gas or inertia?

Just received a response from Winchester, that is the normal position for a 20 gauge because of the magazine auto load feature. It is not the position for the 12 gauge, the 12 gauge sits flush. It is a gas operated shotgun. Thanks all.

Were they 12 or 20 gauges? Winchester says the new feature on the 20 gauge position the shells like this for the new feature, apparently the 12 gauges don't have the new feature.

Push the shell into the mag tube further, make sure its getting past the detent. If the detent isn't actually keeping the shell in the mag tube, then you have a problem.

Nobody in my group hunts with 20's.

This is the response from Winchester- Browning customer service:

Hello, if you have a 20ga that would be normal because of the speed load option. If it is a 12ga that is not normal and you will need to contact our Service Department

at 800-322-4626 ext 2
