Lay-down blind - 07/10/17 04:28 PM
Looking for input on lay-down/pop-up blinds for hunting geese in a field, trying to pick one up in the off-season for a price cut. Comfort, accessibility, storage, price, camo pattern all factors I'm trying to consider, thanks!

Rogers, Final Approach, Avery, and Cabela's all make good comfortable blinds. They are all similar enough that I would just look for the length you need and buy whatever is in your price range. Stay away from the Avery Power Hunter or anything without framed doors (unless size and portability are your top concern). A plain brown/khaki blind is the most versatile imo, but otherwise the camo pattern really doesn't matter once you get it all mudded up.

Got mine at cabelas, waterproof to 10 inches. I'm a big man so I had to find I've I could fit in. Try them out at the store if you can.

Check out the one made by Alps for Delta Waterfowl.
It folds up really easy to carry and store. And it keeps your body off the ground.
Kind of like a chaise lounger with flaps.
Cheaper than most also.
