Got birds locked down from unfolds to Hillsboro and brownwood to Louisiana. We're going to cover more state than their country......

They are here through the. 23rd. 10 days of grinding.

Headed south this morning. Outside of gwt, We didn't see big numbers put they decoyed like champs.

We had 200+ gwt land in the decs in the first 15 min but held out for big ducks.






The sun made it easy to pick drakes. It took me a day to teach em how to pick em.

Looks like everyone's happy

Yep, when they bank to come back, them white patches in the sun, lights them drakes up like a popsicle.

Took em out west of llano and made our first hunt on a pond we built last year. Has good grass now and is holding birds.




Burned 24 in about 15 minutes. If it was brown, it was down.

Yeah. We were trying to get a couple yearling does shot and he got mis. Id'd.

Today we tried for hogs with no luck. I told then I couldn't guarantee the hunting but I could guarantee the food and that they would go home 10 lbs heavier.
Salmon, tuna, and rockfish tostadas.

I think that turning these boys loose with some firepower today may be the highlight of their trip. Like kids in a candy store.

Got the executive shef from one of the hottest restaurants in Austin. The BBQ pig, quail, ribs, brisket did not suck.

I have to say it s all impressive out here! But to me the most impressive is the way waterfowlers seems to be able to meet all over the world. Brazosboyt do s everything to make us happy happy happy and he is doing good. To me it s not all about the numbers but it s all about this whole new experiance. Seeing and experiance a new country not as a tourist but as a close friend is to me a privalege. Thank you all for the nice comments and we will enjoy your beautyfull country for a few days more.

Put em on a screamin blackjack bustin this morning. It was over before it started.





They have really shown us the local side of holland the last 2 yrs so I tried to do the same. Took em to my friends cattle ranch. It's been under one family for over 140 yrs.


Broke out the 20s and cleaned up on ring necks and cowbirds around his grain bins.






Wrapped up the day with Sandhill, backstrap, canvasback wraps.

Crawfish are like $1 a piece in Europe and nowhere can you find them. All frozen chinese ones.

Thought the last day was gonna be a struggle. Decided to drive north to a spot that hadn't been hunted since thanksgiving. Payed off!!
The clouds were like waves rolling in. Never seen anything like this before.

All those bulls would make a royal dead mount. Just sayin'.......

i think martijn at DFW will on purpose loose his passport this week.

So... we are back home from an amazing trip! I can tell you that I ve been on manny places in the world but never ever seen somebody so serious on duckhunting as our friend brazosboyt. Knowing his places, set the decoys and put people in a good shooting position telling them also about safety.
Besides that it was my first time in Texas and it is great! The people I ve seen and spoken to are true friendly and willing to cover up some language barriers.
From this side of the pond I d like to thank my good friend Brazos and his wife for everything that they did for us and we will meet soon in a promissing place I hope.
I know what it meens to make this kind of trip possible and that s a grinder....

To all of you a big thanks for this forum and all your input and beaver.... kom is een bakkie doen als je in de buurt bent!
