Plant ID

Plant ID - 10/26/14 04:44 AM

Searched a little but couldn't really find anything that I thought looked the same. I don't know my aquatic plants at all and maybe I just wasn't looking in the right spots.

What is it?
Do ducks eat it?

Yep, easy one. Scarlet Tooth Cup. Google it, the seeds are definitively duck food.

I got a small private hole I hunt, I pay the guy $30 a gun to hunt it. It is full of toothcup and gets loaded up with pintail in January when it floods just right.

Are other ducks outside of pintails attracted to Toothcup? I have some soybean fields I am planting that are absolutely full of toothcup. I can put about 15" of water on it.
