Bufflehead decoys - 08/17/14 01:55 AM

I was given a couple ghg Bufflehead decoys. They look good. Are they worth adding to my spread? Or tank trash?

Wish I had some helpful insight, but I'm a newbie hunter. However, if they are "tank trash", I would gladly take them off your hands. I dont have any decoys!

Use em. The white on the decoys will help your spread stand out, especially on cloudy days.

I always like to ad a few on the outskirts of my spread, makes a good outer range marker with the bright white.

That's good idea to add some to the spread.

I don't think they would hurt you, if that's what you're asking.

Bufflehead decoys are awesome to use especially if you have buffies where you hunt.

As long as they are put in a good spot and moving they will work as good as any.......

+1. I don't know if I've ever seen any other duck flock to its own kind more than buffleheads. A small group of buffies on the edge of the spread and they will land next to them there dang near every time.
