flooded pothole size ? - 06/27/14 06:21 PM

I have a coastal bottom with trees / woods on two side that I could levee and flood . Close to a good duck lake - 1/2 mile
Only 100 yards long by 50 yards wide
Is this too small to mess with ?

Thanks

Heck no it's not too small. Some of the smallest ponds hold the most birds.

Good location, available food and you can regulate water level. HE11 YEAH!

I'm guessing that "coastal bottom" refers to coastal Bermuda grass and not the location

A bunch of the guys back in Arkansas look for the huge hole 4 miles into the flooded timber...best hunt I've ever been on in my life was 150 yards off the river and it wasn't 20 yards wide that no one ever hunted. It was timber, but I'm sure the same applies to your hole. Food + Security = Ducks. I say go for it man.
