Time to follow up on my original post from March. I made it to Saskatchewan two weeks ago and had an unbelievable time in the mecca of waterfowl hunting. 12 guys, camp in St. Walburg, and we chased birds for a solid 3 days. The icing on the cake was the final morning where we got an 11 man limit of 88 ducks in 50 minutes before heading back to Edmonton. They were still trying to land on us as we packed up decoys. Pics below.
Ward does a great job. I have been going with him for the past 5 years. I left the day yall got there. Of the 5 years I have been this year was the toughest. Just not near as many birds as in years past. My group last year shot 410 birds. this year we barely made it to 210. It doesn't matter where you go, it is still hunting and it will still throw you curve balls.
