yes the only problem is hunting on shore you have to be a certain number of yards from the bak and from any establishment the best thing to do cause im not sure where you want to hunt exactly is to contact the gw office and they can tell you for sure we hunt on the colorado river right outside of marble falls so

HArd hunting on the colorado. Landowners along it hate duckhunters. Enough so that I know a couple of guys that had the GW called on them and with enough biotching from the landowners they got popped for their pellets falling on said landowners property after the GW glassed them and where their guns were pointed. You best advice if you are gonna hunt it is to get as far away from a populated area as you can. And you'd better be setup on a sand/gravel bar and no where close to the bank. Even then though that pellets falling on private prop rule is heavily enforced. Big risk for fair shooting IMO.
