Teal or no teal, North Texas is getting some much needed rain. That's something to be thankful for.

Not currently raining at the house. Got a little yesterday. It's been scattered. Should be more before the weekend and then more next week

That coldfront will bring doves

Re: On the bright side... - 09/13/13 03:46 AM

I'm sure it will. Not sure on the wunderground radar atm. It's always been trustworthy, but it does sure seem to be wrong at the moment

I've been watching that front all week work its way down. North tx should get a good mass of doves. Don't think they will make it my way till next week. Unless u fellas up north bombard them and get them moving faster!!!

I am waking up right now and ready to bombard all of them critters

Re: On the bright side... - 09/13/13 12:27 PM

You saw one of two things on that radar.....

Either "ground clutter" caused by interferene around the radar satellites or possibly virga ( rain that evaporates before it hits the ground) which will show up on radar as light showers.

Wunderground is the best online weather site...inaccuraweather, Weather.com and others suck. NOAA is a close second to weather forecasts.

Fear not grasshopper....rain with a name is on the way yingyang

Re: On the bright side... - 09/13/13 12:56 PM

Virga is definitely possible considering the cloud cover we had
