No ducks during scouting but.... - 01/17/13 02:20 AM

Went scouting to a public hunting area last monday and saw most of the dried pockets are now flooded. I did not see any ducks except for a family of coots. Do you think this flooded pockets will hold ducks in the early morning even though I did not see any during scouting?

Need help. Thanks.

I wouldn't count that spot out for a hunt then, if I can help it I try to check my spots before noon to know what's in there at the time we will be hunting

If you found a newly flooded area, most likely there will be ducks in there feeding in the mornings. Give it a shot.
