Tall Trees and Green Heads

Tall Trees and Green Heads - 01/03/13 11:07 PM

Nothing like it when it gets right. If you haven't, make a point to hunt some real flooded green timber at some point in your life. Every duck hunter should experience it. I've got a bunch of video and pics I'm sifting through, should have something pretty cool put together at the end of the season.

It's eating me up tweaking the pics as I go through them so I gotta share a few. Hope y'all are having some luck. Scouting and hunts around here have been hit or miss for me.

Give it a rest do gooders. Most people don't pick up hulls until the hunt is called.

rolleyes

Hulls get raked up during the split, when the hunting is slow, and at the end of the season when the water is drained out.

When the birds are in, we get in and get out as fast as we can.

You'd be hard pressed to find an old hull in those woods, so you can rest easy.
