That does suck for him

Re: Bad Meat - 10/12/12 03:59 AM

This is truely pathetic. I would hope someone wisens up and apologizes to the main for any inconvenience they've caused him and no charges are pressed.

Shame on TPW for even considering investigating this. Man probably wasn't even a hunter and never read hunting regulations. Bird was already dead, there was no harm no foul.

Dude was laughing about it on the radio, so I don't think he's too worried

A reserve game warden that reads obscure cooking blogs at that.

Update October 12, 2012 – Captain Scott Jurk, a Texas Parks and Wildlife game warden, says, “Texas Parks and Wildlife will not be pursuing any charges against Ryan Adams in this case.”

Re: Bad Meat - 10/12/12 03:07 PM

That's why I only eat the Eurasians that smack into my windows.

True story. I once had a white wing smack into our back door (this was a common occurance that scared the crap out of me on several occasions). I waited to see if it would wake up and fly away. After a few minutes, I called one of my labs to retrieve it. The bird was still alive so I set it on my patio table. Went back inside and looked back, all of a sudden the bird stood up, dazed and confused, and flew away. Imagine the story that bird has to tell.

Re: Bad Meat - 10/12/12 03:21 PM

Tpw officer pribiably had to pass by two meth labs and a dead hooker on the way to the suspects house to talk with him, why aren't we out catching the real criminals??

Re: Bad Meat - 10/12/12 04:39 PM

This is an example of an overreaching government. Truthfully, I don't really think that any DA in the country would waste court money and time prosecuting this guy in the first place...

Re: Bad Meat - 10/12/12 05:00 PM

they don't need a DA, they write the ticket and you either pay it or get threatened with gestapo tactics

i.e. we can come into your house or property anytime we want due to our game warden super powers.
