That was Whipple's (pup on the left) first experience with a rabbit other than stalking them in the backyard. A little sniffing and getting used to it and she did fine with it even though I don't think she was ready for the size of it.
Paxton (on the right) will retrieve them as well. Might have to do some real rabbit hunting this year if we don't get more rain.

Lots of bunnies out at my father in laws little ranch. My dog chases them all the time...finally she caught a young one one day and then proceeded to eat it whole.

We used to have a ton of rabbits then I think the predators got pretty thick. The rabbits got a little scarce for a while. Recently I've been seeing more rabbits, but I still plan to thin out the predators.
