04 Sep 11 with Frosting UPDATED - 09/05/11 02:38 AM

So I joined up with Sallysue, Don and Deckhand for an evening hunt in some serious wild winds. Took down several birds before I changed out chokes to make it easier.

Tuit performed flawlessly for her first hunt of the year. I'm so proud of that little lady. She was very busy

Love the intensity

After a perfect retrieve, little man says, "I want to play with one" so I tossed him the bird after Tuit released it to me. Next thing I hear is "Dad, this one has a tag" I'm thinking, no way!

Sure enough, we shot our first banded dove!! banana2 and here all along I thought they were just myths!

A limit with bling

A big thank you to Sallysue for giving me the opportunity to take such a fine bird flehan

thanks folks, I' stoked about it, been doing this for 37 years and never seen one, much less thought I'd get one. I've told the kids to check for bands, but never really thought I'd get one
