Hog hunts near houston

Looking for a hog hunt for myself and two kids near Houston. Looking for fair Chase hunt. No high fences. Please let me know what you have. We are from Wisconsin. Thanks

Aaron you will be hunting over feeders most likely day or night. I wouldn't get too hung up on the high fence fair chase thing. You will prolly see about bazillion hogs either way.

There are places that have high fences and buy and stock hogs to be hunted. Usually 100% guarantee. Most are just regular ranches that have lots of hogs in the area. Both use feeders to attract hogs. Walk and stalk can be done but you are much better off with a feeder hunt. Most activity will be just before dark. You'll get 1 shot and they're off and running. Go utube and call up hog hunts to get an idea about how its done. Lots of fun. I've taken my son on several. Lots of fun sitting in the stand and talking quietly while waiting.

Do some searching here on THF and you'll find outfitters and ranches advertising hunts and just hunters rating their hunts. There are places within 1-2 hrs of Houston.
