Anyone use jump rope regularly in their workout routine?

Not anymore but you just brought back some great memories. Loved it back in the day when I played basketball. Learned to criss cross and several other tricks.

Not since they made us do it for some heart disease charity in school. I think I raised a good 13 or 14 dollars over the course of grade school. At the rate I’m going, I’ll regret that investment soon.

This thread on aerobic exercise made me think of one of my all-time favorite movie scenes. Man, I miss John Candy.

Sometimes as a warm up before kettlebells. Earlier in the year I was doing 20 to 30 mins several times a week but have been focusing more on strength vs cardio lately.

Nope. 3 dislocated discs in lower back, running/jumping/any sudden jerking movements and I am in a world of hurt. Sometimes for several weeks. Power walking & ellipticals works well for me. I’ve learned to be careful.

I jumped back when I played basketball in high school. I'm too old now.
