Thanks guys, I appreciate the welcome! I'm trying to figure out which sponsorship I need to purchase so I'm able to sell my knives here. (I don't wanna be stepping on anyone's toes!) I'll update my info with my website when I'm able to get that done!
Just a little more history on me... bjankowski is one of the reasons that I'm making knives now! Thank you Bob! I saw some of his knives on a different website a few years ago and just decided to jump in and see what I could do! I've been fortunate to meet lots of great makers and ask LOTS of questions to get me to where I am today!
All of my knives are 100% done by me in my little garage shop, including the hand sewn leather sheaths. I make mostly EDC/hunting fixed blades, but also do kitchen knives, filet knives, and slip-joint pocket knives.

yes sir, thank you for asking! She got all 4 of them cut out last Monday! She feels a lot better now, but I'm gonna be paying for that one for a WHILE!!ha

do you forge and make your own blanks or do you buy blanks and finish off ?
I am dissatisfied with the mass steel available (154, D2, s30 …. )
some of the steels I've been very impressed with were Swedish or Japanese
would like to know what steels you forge /have ?

I sure do sir! I still love that knife also. I have quiet a few from different makers so it's hard to pick a favorite but that one and one from Mr Conner are right at the top. They both get equal duty as edc, and I took apart a pig around christmas with the one you made me.

I appreciate ya not showing that blade Mike!!haha I've gotten quite a bit better since back then!!lmao (Love the sheath BTW)
As for how I make my knives, I do not forge, I'm a stock removal guy (my back wouldnt let me swing a hammer all day even if I wanted to!ha) I buy my steel in 3'-4' sections in different widths and most all of it is 1/8 thick (I have some 3/32 also) The steels that I use are 154cm stainless, 1084 carbon, 0-1 carbon, and my folders are all cpm154. I take pride in making a great knife (and sheath) from scratch. I cut out my own profiles and no 2 of my knives are the exact same because most of my knives do not have templates (I do have a couple). I grind my bevels freehand and prefer a hollow grind but do a flat grind on requested orders.

Couple "firsts" for me on this one! First double bolster, first fluted bolster, and first time fileworking liners! CPM154 blade and spring, 410ss mill relieved liners, 416ss bolsters, oval pinned shield, ringed gidgee scales. 600grit hand rubbed finish on hollowground blade. 4 1/2" closed w a 3 1/4" blade.

I appreciate it! I would be willing to bet the owners of those knives are on this page!!haha Those 3 were for a father and his 2 sons. Yes, i understand not having all the social media stuff...i probably wouldn't have them if i wasn't a knifemaker and needed a way for them to be seen on a broader scale. Finally was able to finish up this order after the handle material was ordered from Illinois and apparently had to go through Fresno, CA before making it's way to Texas.. lol thank goodness for patient customers!ðŸ˜ðŸ¤˜

I have been working solely on orders for over the past year but covid has slowed it down now. I'm getting to make a few for my "stash" for when someone wants a last second gift. Thank you...his memorial service was yesterday, so now it's time to try and get back to as normal as possible. I'm glad school, sports and knifemaking are kicking back up to help keep me busy...
Finally finished this one up and it's going in MY pocket...first time spot welding bolsters and chamfering bolsters. cpm154 w koa covers and fileworked liners

FINALLY got all these suckers built and put together! Still need to etch the company logo on them and sharpen em up! this was a pretty big undertaking for me and my little garage shop! Glad I was able to get them all done in plenty of time for Christmas gifts!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the welcome! I'm trying to figure out which sponsorship I need to purchase so I'm able to sell my knives here. (I don't wanna be stepping on anyone's toes!) I'll update my info with my website when I'm able to get that done!
Just a little more history on me... bjankowski is one of the reasons that I'm making knives now! Thank you Bob! I saw some of his knives on a different website a few years ago and just decided to jump in and see what I could do! I've been fortunate to meet lots of great makers and ask LOTS of questions to get me to where I am today!
All of my knives are 100% done by me in my little garage shop, including the hand sewn leather sheaths. I make mostly EDC/hunting fixed blades, but also do kitchen knives, filet knives, and slip-joint pocket knives.
That s TBH bro, here the owner is pretty dam generous

Yes sir, back years ago I didn't get door to the shop closed correctly and the old lab that I had at the time got in the shop and chewed up two sets of Mammoth Ivory scales that I had just bought and were laying on the bench. That was an expensive mistake on my part.

Thank you Forrest! I can set ya up on a payment plan if ya want!haha I totally understand...(I'm actually one of the least expensive custom slipjoint makers around if you can believe that. I just bought one not too long ago from a mentor of mine for $1200!!

Thank you sir, I appreciate it! Well, normally i require half up front (when I'm ready to START on yours, not when ordered since i'm backlogged a bit), and the other half on delivery...but i can break it up into 3 or 4 payments if that's what someone needs to do...knife won't ship until it's fully paid of course

I don't really have a "website" because then it would seem more like a job to me and i already have one of those!!haha I have a personal Facebook account with family stuff/knife stuff and an Instagram account for just my knife pics. Thanks guys!! Haven't gotten much done because of basketball season and getting my shop re-wired for a couple new machines I bought (there was crap moved all over EVERYWHERE trying to rewire everything!ha) Finally got it all back to some semblance of order after cleaning up the past week!! Our basketball season is over too, so i should be getting some shop time to fill some orders and build up some stock for a show in May!

I have kinda moved away from doing many fixed blades but got a request for one of these from another maker, so we are working a trade. 1084 carbon steel hunter w some fabricated antique ivory, dyed box elder, w black g10 liners and a nickel silver guard. Now for a little leather work!

Here's something a little different! Customer had scales made with cremated remains of her father in law and asked me to make 2 knives as a gift to her husband. Damascus blade, O-1 spring, stainless liners and bolsters. Got a fixed blade I'm working on for her too with composite scales with his ashes that'll be up next!

And here's #2...these scales are composite wood/alumalite and his ashes are mixed into the alumalite

Blade Show Texas is starting tomorrow at the Ft. Worth Convention Center! 10:30am til 6pm on Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturday! I'll be at table 7-O so stop by, say hi, and check out my knives!
