Pilots Survival knife

Pilots Survival knife - 11/07/15 04:05 AM

I have been wanting to try making a pilots survival style knife. I don't generally make hidden tang knives but I wanted to try the leather spacers. Glad I attempted it. I always learn a ton when I get out of my normal groove. I used an antique sawmill blade for the blade.

That's really nice, the sawmill blade gives it the correct patina.
