Public Drawn Hunt Results

How long does it typically take for the drawing results to be shown on the parks and wildlife website after the draw closes? Looks like there were only two hunts that closed at midnight last night and when I checked my status for the youth hunt at 3 pm it still shows "Application Received".

They usually do the drawing the next day. They might be posted by tomorrow. Good luck!

We have a "Pending 2nd draw" for San Angelo SP for the Youth Antlerless.

I can't stand the anticipation, I have to wait until December for the hunts I put into.

Congrats for being drawn. My grandkids are pending 2nd draw on 4 antlerless hunts.

Congrats on the draw. We have pending second draw for James Daughtrey Youth Anterless/Spike. Hopefully the kids get picked on the other hunts we put in for that draw in a couple of weeks.

Ya gotta eat at Sam's in Fairfield...and go when your stomach thinks you have forgotten how to feed it...so go HUNGRY ...as it is a Great Pitch Till You Win buffet.

My two nephews drew a youth hunt at Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. Never even heard of the state park before and I believe this is the first hunt. Should be fun as they both are now 15 and competent hunters.

...and really close to Mary's CFS palace that some folks stand in line for...BTDT and will do it again...

Now I am waiting for the private lands. The draw results for those should be posted on the 13th. Than comes the big one on the 23rd.

Thanks for posting. I don't know how the 13th got past me but you're right. Which place/places did you apply for? I am only going for Terrell County Ranch.

I went in for several including Terrell County Ranch. Drew it several years ago and had a great time. It's a bit of a drive to Sanderson from Tyler but the hunt was worth it. They had a mule deer buck named Javiar that slept in the garage and would beg for food from you like a dog. They said he showed up one day and never left. Seeing Javiar made the drive worth while. I often wonder what ever happened to him.

When I will know for sure if I drew any of the hunts gun deer hunts with the deadline of the 20th.

LOL, that is too cool. He probably is the smartest deer in all of Gods creation. He won't get shot in there.

Also, I knew about the 20th but guessed I got confused with the 23rd and wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything. A poor man needs every hunting opportunity he can get!

What time do you think they will start releasing todays stuff?

Still have not heard anything...the last two hunts I drew got notification around 11:00.

I take that back, one notification came in at 9:58 am and the other at 15:10.

Got drawn for the Pecos Co. and already acknowledged the permit. Put in for Vac/boss I'm not going to be here these days.

Just pending 2nd for me. Gun Deer Either Sex I am now at a whopping 23 preference points.

Wow. That's quite the dry streak.

Think I need to go play the lotto. The 2nd chance youth antlerless drawning happened this morning and my daughter won hunts at Lake McClellan and Palo Duro Canyon. She was also picked for a hunt in Duval county this afternoon from the TYHP.

I was drawn for Lake Whitney and Lake Mineral Wells. ?? I have not been drawn in three or four years and end up with two this year. Lake Whitney is muzzleloader only, I have not purchased the permit, may leave that to a 2nd draw hunter.
I already purchased the permit for Lake Mineral Wells, looking forward to this one.

We attended this hunt last year. They picked the blinds for us but we got lucky. Blinds 5 & 6 are great if you can request. They are brush ground blinds that overlook the dump station irrigation fields. We saw lots of deer including some giant bucks and my son shot his 1st doe. 1 of only 2 I believe killed that weekend. Take a bag of corn to bait with and some chairs. Good luck!

how long does the second draw take? Mine says pending for awhile now.

It can take up to two weeks to change.
