Anyone scout Bardwell lake yet? I am a 3 hour drive but I will be up there this weekend for work and thinking of taking some time to try it out. Last year it was hit or miss...

Well if there were actually birds there for the youth weekend that is a good sign, they had a nice opportunity to come back hopefully this week.

I will be working in WACO this weekend so only a 50 min drive from there so worth checking out. Instead of my usual 3 hour drive from Houston.

It's a beautiful lake to camp..but I had a trailcam stolen..my fault..lesson learned...you can only hunt north of 34 between 34 and 287..most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen..camping on the bardwell side by the marina
