Good enough red dot - 04/24/13 02:38 PM
I have, essentially, a 9mm carbine. It has a full mono rail and I feel a good red dot system will be the best option. I'm fairly certain I prefer the Aimpoint type and not the Eotech type. The problem is I can't really afford either.
So what is a good alternative to the Aimpoint?
I'm willing to pay up to an absolute max of $200 for the red dot and mounting system. I know you have to pay some money in order to aovoid getting carp like ncstar. After all, it has to hadle a moderate amoutn of recoil.
Here are the 2 front runners from what I've found looking around, but I don't have any experience with either. Honestly, i don't have much experience with red dots in general.
