Sounds like the antis have boiled it down to two things, a stronger background check and a 10 rd limit on mags.

One thing I've heard out of a lot of the liberals on gun control are the words "permit" and "permitted". The idiots have never understood that everywhere isn't exactly like their liberal cities; we don't have to have a permit to own a gun in Texas. To conceal carry yes, but not to own one. Not to mention that 99% have no clue the difference between semi-automatic and "a machine gun".

What gets me is when they compare the murder rate in the US as being so much higher than thied world countries. They don't have anything over there anybody would want to kill for.

Americans have wealth and people want to steal that wealth. That's a big part of the problem.

the murder rate is pretty dang low in the US. Think its like 4.2 per 100,000 and if you took out the gang killings its way lower


and thats not even talking about how many crimes are prevented by guns that never get reported at all
