Gonna Make a Couple this weekend at the lease. Got some ideas but thought I would see if any of ya'll have made anything in the past. A regular feeder will not work as the cows and Hogs will annihilate it. Looking to make something hung out over the water.

We just used a small "All Seasons" deer feeder. Cut the legs down so the motor box was about 6" above the ground level then built a small raft out of plastic barrels and PT lumber....used a couple of cables to stake it out from the bank....works great.

I've seen a couple of them but they came off a dock. Go to the Pond Boss website and ask. I'll bet some of those guys have done it.

A 30 gallon barrel with a pulley on the tree to lower it to fill, or build a short zip line with a rope tied to the barrel so you can pull it up and down the line, tie rope to tree when not in use. Or directional feeder staked down on the bank.
