The 3 guys I was hunting with did kill nice mature bucks though. Live weights were 238, 230, and 227lbs.

For whitetail it’s been tough for me and most on our place one guy did kill a 151 on the opener but most our bucks been Mia. Glad to have arrowed a muley back in October because not super optimistic

Tony, did you happen to put tape on this one? Just curious as I passed on a tall, symmetrical rack buck opening weekend in Throckmorton county, really similar looking to yours. Mine was only a 4-4.5 yo old, long tines and beams like yours.

I did buddy 147.75, not happy about that we shoot 10’s that are over 150. All the game cam photos had him well in the 50’s but it is what it is. I’m very happy with him though. All the deer on our place gained A LOT of weight this last year.
