Stephens County 12 this morning

I was sooooo close to sleeping in this morning because things had been a little slow all week. All my morning deer had left and one lone doe came in with this guy right behind her. I watched him all last year and even found one of his sheds this past spring. I was so worried that someone had harvested him already. I know he had several good years of spreading his genes around the pasture. He was an 11 last year and a full symmetrical 12 this year. I"ve never seen a fair-chase, low fence12 let alone harvested one on my own ranch. This was a heck of a morning for me and a memory I'll never forget. Off to the taxidermi$t. Haven't had a chance to score him yet. Curious what you think he would score.

12x12s are not very common for sure but there are probably more than people think. Have one at the place I'm hunting that is only 3 years old and not a day over. Sure hope he stays clean. There as been one taken off it in the past that was 7x7 typical.

I'm seeing 64" up and guessing right about 100" on his frame. Beams look pretty long as they come forward really well.
He sure looks mid 160s to me and if he hadn't broken off the brows he likely is a 170 deer.

Congrats, easy mid-upper 160's. Wouldn't surprise me if it hit 170" (if he wasn't broke up, I didn't see the breaks). Still say easy 160"s.
