Has anyone seen any baby fawns yet?

The does look like they are ready to pop. I have a deer farm and was wondering if anyone has See any of the babies on the ground yet

About two to three weeks too early, imo.

A lot depends on where your herd backgrounds are from.

Just had this conversation over the weekend. We are close - lots of very pregnant does. I guess in the next two weeks we'll start seeing fawns at my place.

Since our rut here is in September, we have fawns right now. There was one right outside my wife's office window last week in the middle of a kid's soccer field. After awhile, mom came back around and herded it back into the woods.

No. Just adult fawns.

Doe are huge. Ours drop in late may, early june.

Not yet, they will be hittin the ground soon though. Its a dead give away when ya see a doe standing around in the middle of the day with nothin to do.

Had a fresh one this last weekend in South San Antonio area. Looked like it had just dropped.

I'm seeing allot of dry does out this way.

I saw about 50 of those yesterday driving to town. Mostly does and a few small bucks.

Saw my first fawn yestrday, deer are in great shape here, bucks have started growing out and putting on their first points.

I saw 2 yesterday at my ranch in Hardin County. Yep, and saw a buck with about 7 to 8 inches of antler growth.

A little hard to see but saw another fawn this evening standing to the left of doe at cross fence

As the gestation period for a whitetail is 200 days and our rut in Dickens county is around Thanksgiving looking to see fawns the end of this month. If we don't get adequate rain they will abort or abandon their babies due to a lack of milk. We got an 3/4 of an inch at my place last week so I'm praying it will be enough to support them.

Been looking hard, but on camera, all my does are still big and fat. Anytime now I think. Northeast Texas.

The doe I saw past weekend in Montague still pregs. Should start dropping thru mid June. It's lush so should be a good survival year.

No fawns yet in southern Oklahoma....big fat doe that are round as a beach ball. Gotta be twins in this one

I saw my first one in Montgomery county the other day. It was tiny. Very tiny. And dead on the road. I'm sure whomever hit it felt worse than me. First time a roadkilled deer affected me like this.

around Georgetown, all the does are still carrying but can't be much longer.

Our does are still fat in Montague as of today on the wireless camera. Gestation is around 200 days so we have a while since rut is Nov.

We had a Fawn trying to keep up with Mommie run across the back fence about 6PM today, on the 8 acre estate my place borders. What's surprising is they were in one of the areas along my fence where the owner keeps his "yard" mowed 1/2" tall...

Still fat in Southern Menard County.

First ones are dropping here in Mountain Home. They will continue to drop until Nov or Dec.

Just saw my first one in Lee county. Nearly ran over it with my tractor.

We just saw our first fawns last week. Every year has different timing

Driving through the pasture the other morning, a doe came out of the bluestem and chased my dog. Pretty sure she had a little one nearby.

I hear ya'. Pretty common throughout the state this time of year. Still bothers me too.

Same thing when I was up there this last weekend. Also first sighting in north Montgomery county today.

Next door neighbors had 3 does and 4 fawns in their yard Monday evening.

Seen a doe with twins yesterday on Ft Hood

I have a doe on camera, she's the mother of "little blackie", a young nubber last season. I've seen her and she has dropped. Very slim now. We just keep water out and pretty much leave the deer alone this time of year.

Drive around the parks at Lake Belton. There are fawns laying everywhere. Looked like about half of the does had dropped.

2 weeks ago in Bosque saw several while out mowing roads and food plots

Saw a little bitty fawn at Lake Bastrop on Sunday. Couldn't have been more then a few days old. It was standing in the road in the heat of the day as I drove by with my boat. Never did see mamma.

My dad came into work today and said there was a dead fawn on the side of our driveway at our woods so i went up there today and got a permit and put it in the freezer. Im not sure if the taxidermist can do much with it because i know it happened yesterday some time. My dad found it last last night.

Saw a fawn last Saturday on Canyon Lake. Was new enough it could barely stand up.

Nothing here yet, but getting really close on some of the does.

At my place in Dickens county and as expected seeing new borns that were conceived around Thanksgiving. Looks like we got at least 3 individual storms dropping over 8 inches of rain. Just in time to support the wildlife that had less than 2 inches from November through the end of April. Dickens county is lush and green and should provide some great hunting for this season. Thank our Lord. Now for some more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep saw one run over on the road yesterday......

I checked 3 cams today and seen one doe with a fawn, and 2 different does with twins.

Two fawns just out side my feeder pen with mother inside.

Mature mama and twins were feeding down my back fence last nite for almost an hour, before the neighbors dog ran them off. Everbody was healthy and Mama was almost fat. Twins were still in spots, and "minded" mama to stay put while she grazed further down the fence until the dog showed up. Always enjoy watching Ma Nature's critters up close.

Does starting splitting up and not moving around to much about 2-3 weeks ago now here. I think there are some fawns on the ground but with recent rains everything has greened up and deer are moving at night more now also.

Mom and dad were watching a new born in the front yard yesterday evening in Guadalupe county.

Saw two does giving birth Saturday at our lease in south east Oklahoma.
