Coleman county rut - 11/22/15 01:55 PM
Rut is on, bucks are tending, chasing and looking. It is a cool 26 degrees this morning, I rattled in a couple if small bucks, my toes are starting to sting, turkey are everywhere, and a fox just chased the turkey off my feeder. All of the ground and trees are covered with frost. Exciting!!!

I saw some doe and 1 measly 4pt. It was a slow weekend for me. I will be back out on Friday. I hope something is chasing something.

We've seen deer every sit since Sat morn. Couple cruiser 8's we couldn't get to stop for a shot. The big ones have dissappeared and the little ones are trying to figure it out.

My son and I had a blast over the weekend. Lots of action, I sat my bow stand sunday and grunted in a 3 year old 8 point and 2 small bucks that stopped to eat the hand thrown corn. One of my other hunters took a 10 point with his rifle, cant wait to get back out Thursday evening.

Hunt on the north side of Ivie, saw 2 bucks mounting does and another one just south of rodea arena mounting a doe when coming back home.
Based on the last 7 years there it seems to be about s week early
Saw MANY road kills Saturday on 153 driving through.

Hunted down on the Colorado river this past weekend. Saw one nice 2.5 yo whitetail that was keeping up with a doe. Other than that, just a few skillet heads
